So apparently there are three of these (chain) but I confess, after visiting the on Vermont yesterday (across street from L.A. city college) I'm already a fan of this location.  I like that they serve beer.  I like that they have a bar type counter.  I like that they have tv monitor's with futbol on the screen, and I must say, that even though this place is primarily Salvedorean, the carnitas tacos I had yesterday were just as good as any I've had anywhere.  Ironically, better than the pupusas. Had bean & cheese pupusas, which were tasty, but not quite as hot (temperature wise) as I've had at other Salvedcorenos.  They definitley were good though.  The rice tasted great.  the beans great.  They have a thick red hot sauce that's amazing.  Will be back.

I ordered the chicken enchilada plate with rice and beans and it was worth every penny. Food is really authentic and flavorful. The service is fast and everyone here is polite.

I was on a mission today after work to find an authentic new place in LA that was definitely a hidden unpretentious spot. I came across this easy to miss little Salvadoran restaurant that had killer chicken stewed/potatoes/beans just like fam used to make. Across from LACC, daily specials. Places like these are what makes LA.

    So let's begin with this:
    Food is cheap
Mediocre presentation and taste of food
    Dirty tables
Employees live in their own little world,  either in their phone or watching TV
Bathrooms are completely disgusting,  dirty,  smell bad... you can't even think about washing your hands
How this place doesn't get a C rating is amazing.
